The Pathway X2 is a portable satellite dish antenna that features a small size of only 15” tall when in travel position, with a 21” base It weighs only 16 lbs. It has a carry handle for easy handling and a security loop to secure the antenna and it can be mounted to an optional tripod stand. This portable satellite dish is perfect for tailgating and for your RV – allowing you to watch your favorite movies or games. The Pathway X2 will support satellite service from Dish Network Eastern or Western arc satellite orbits.
Ease of use
The Pathway X2 Satellite antenna can easily be changed over to Dish Network Western arc 110-119-129 and Eastern arc 61.5-72-77 satellite orbits – all from the comfort of your motorhome by using the menu that automatically comes up when you power up your Dish 211 or 411 receiver.
After connecting the receiver to a power source, simply complete the receiver setup, select the number of receivers, eastern or western arc, and the state that you are currently in. Then, press “Scan” to start scanning for satellites.
The antenna will support two receivers which allow different channels on two different receivers when you select the 72.7 orbit that carries both SD and HD programming from Dish Network. NOTE: The Pathway X2 will support single tuner receivers such as the 211 and 411 models but not DVRs or dual tuners.
Construction
The Pathway X2 is an American-made product and is built to take the elements with its heavy-duty plastic base and rubber base feet. It features an 18” metal reflector (instead of a plastic one made by other manufacturers) inside the dome giving you the highest signal strength for its size. The specially treated UV plastic reflector cover helps shed water for optimum performance in inclement weather. The antenna comes with a 25’ coax cable, an instruction manual, a two-year warranty covering labor the first year.
